Madison Carr

Madison Carr, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters of Social Work from Valdosta State University and a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Georgia.  Madison brings years of experience working with couples, families, young adults, teenagers, and survivors of abuse and trauma. She focuses on providing practical solutions to individuals who may be struggling with depression, stress, anxiety and those who are seeking comfort in times of great stress or grief.

Madison also strives to provide clients with a safe space to talk about struggles without the fear of being judged. She believes individualized therapy treatments for her clients empowers them to learn how to restore joy. This can include anything from talk therapy, animal-assisted therapy, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She can also offer unique counseling for anyone who may be seeking a Christian perspective, and with this comes the belief that no situation is too hopeless, and healing can be found even in the darkest of circumstances.

Madison’s passion is working with couples, teens, and young adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, relational/communication issues, suicidal thoughts, and/or previous abuse or trauma.  Madison believes in helping her clients feel comfortable and connected and strives to help them leave her office feeling hopeful about the future.

Madison’s sessions are accompanied by Mr. Turbo, who is a certified therapy dog. Please click here to learn more about Mr. Turbo and the benefits of animal assisted therapy.
