Courtney Johnson

Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the state of Georgia. She is a proud Double Eagle, having earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Education in Counselor Education – Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Courtney is currently working toward certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), further deepening her commitment to evidence-based practices.

Courtney has experience working with clients of all ages and is passionate about helping children and teens. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, anger, LGBTQIA+ topics, self-esteem and confidence issues, and substance use disorders. She utilizes a person-centered, talk therapy approach, empowering clients to lead their own healing journeys while feeling fully accepted, valued, and respected. Courtney integrates mindfulness, art, music, and play therapy techniques to create a holistic and personalized experience. She believes that every client’s story is unique and requires an individualized approach.
