Kathryn Monro

Kathryn Munro, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Savannah State University in 2002 and has spent over two decades supporting individuals and families through life’s many transitions. Kathryn works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and other life challenges, helping them draw on their strengths and build resilience along the way. She also completed the Johns Hopkins University Dementia Care Specialist Program and enjoys helping families navigate caregiving, community resources, and the emotional adjustments that come with change.

Kathryn provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families, creating a warm and supportive space where clients can explore relationships, find clarity, and grow stronger together. Her personal and professional experience includes end-of-life caregiving and work in skilled nursing facilities, hospice, addiction treatment, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She has had the privilege of working with people at all stages of life.

Blending compassion with practical tools, Kathryn uses approaches like grief counseling, recovery-focused care, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Seeking Safety. She takes a heart-centered approach, honoring each person’s unique beliefs and values while integrating both traditional and holistic methods of healing. Her goal is to help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered on their journey toward wellness.
