Jim Kress

Jim Kress, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Counseling from Florida State University. Jim has been counseling since 2001 in a variety of settings and has experience working with individuals with addiction related issues and military personnel as well. He specializes in working with adults and a background dealing with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma and grief.

Jim's passion is building a working relationship with each client and meeting them where they are, to form solutions they can implement in their daily lives. Jim has been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities. These different therapies allow him to work with a variety of concerns and issues with clients as they struggle to find the resolutions that they are seeking.

Jim seeks to build relationships with his clients and provide a place where they are able to examine the concerns of their lives without feeling judged or threatened. Jim understands the difficulty that is involved in seeking therapy and is able to provide that peaceful place where the client is able to unburden themselves of the problems that they have been carrying, while working towards goals to better their lives.
